Anne Mary Hines

Anne Mary Hines, born to Lyndon Dean and Helen Hickey Dean on December 4, 1944 in Superior, Wisconsin, died at her home in Broomfield, Colorado on April 23, 2020.

She was married on January 27, 1968 to Michael Hines, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Together, they celebrate 3 children; Todd Hines, Maureen Hines-Smith, Rebecca Schell; and one grandchild; Millie Smith.

Her schooling consisted of graduating from Kenmore East High School in Buffalo, New York, class of 1962, University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Science, in 1966, completing an Internship as an officer with the US Public Health Service Corps in Staten Island, New York, and finally receiving a Master's in Adult Education from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She went on to become a Registered Dietician and worked for Kaiser Permanente for 20 years.

Anne was a devout parishioner at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, and part of the Families of Nazareth Movement. Her hobbies included genealogy, cooking, nutrition, reading, book editing, family, storytelling.

She is survived by her loving husband, her children, her grandchild, and her siblings; Thomas Dean, John Dean, Joseph Dean, and Margaret Magnuson.

Anne was known for her kindness and making everyone feel welcomed and important. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Anne was an excellent hostess and loved preparing meals and snacks for family and friends. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
