Angie was born on May 31, 1970, in Iowa City, Iowa. She was raised in Newton, Iowa, and graduated from Newton High School in 1988 and from the University of Iowa in 1992.
She was married for 27 years to her devoted husband Jeff. They enjoyed life at the same pace and were just as content watching a Cubs game on TV as they were lounging on a Caribbean beach.
Her daughter Courtney, 20, was the light of her life and they were best friends. Some of Angie's happiest days were spent just hanging out with Courtney. She also loved her many friends including her P.E.O. Sisters.
Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents and her beloved stepfather Denis Wilcox. She is survived by her husband Jeff, daughter Courtney, mother Linda Wilcox, mother-in-law Marci Carlson, and sister-in-law Susan Carlson, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
