Amanda Katherine Curtis

Amanda Katherine (Kathy) Curtis (Lamberti) passed away at home May 5, 2022, in Broomfield, CO.  She was 74 years old.

Kathy was born October 2, 1947 in Bloomington/Normal, IL to Menno and Eleanor (Beck) Lamberti.  She married James (Jim) A Curtis on July 24, 1965.  In 1970, she gave birth to their son Robert in Clovis, NM six weeks before Jim was honorably discharged from the USAF.  In 1978, she gave birth to their daughter Christina in Bloomington, IL.  Kathy loved to read and go hiking in the mountains.  She also enjoyed creating and painting ceramics.  She was an accomplished home cook and her skills were amazing.  More recently she became very proficient at long range target shooting.

No matter how tough things became, she never let it get her down, and always had a smile waiting for everyone she encountered.

Kathy was the sweetest, nicest, most intelligent and beautiful person that I have ever met.  We were together for over 57 years.  I love her with all my heart, and I miss her dearly.  I’ve lost my best friend.

5 Grandchildren

She will be greatly missed by all!
