Sandra J. Brownell

Sandra Brownell was born on September 2, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma to Pauline and Leonard Yoder. She passed away on January 16, 2020 in her home in Westminster, Colorado at 75 years old. Sandra grew up in Oklahoma and Colorado, raised with her sisters Carol and Tamara. Sandra spent much of her life in Texas where she raised her three children before moving back to Colorado where she met and married the love of her life, Randy Brownell.

Sandra was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passions were her family, playing cards, a glass of wine, and winning big at video poker.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Leonard, and her daughter Diana. She is survived by her husband Randy, son Jason and spouse Mandy along with their children Ryan and Layne, son Jeff and wife Abbey along with their children Cash and Remi, stepdaughter Jennifer and husband Mike along with their children Ashlyn, Eva, Eli, Kendall, and grandson Liam, stepson Rich and his children Jeffrey and Matthew, sister Carol and husband Burt along with their families, sister Tami and husband Lee along with their families, granddaughter Rachel and husband Josh, and granddaughter Ashley and husband Andy.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at Stonebrook Manor located at 650 E 124th Ave, Thornton, Colorado 80241 on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Sandra’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which was her favorite cause.
