Gwendolyn D. Pendergrass

Gwendolyn Dee (Johnson) Pendergrass, of Loveland, CO, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 17th, 2017 while surrounded by her family.  She was 60 years old.  Gwen was born on November 27th, 1957 in Rockford, Illinois.

Gwen was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Pendergrass and is survived by her children, Erin Jaggi (Eric), Brandon Pendergrass (Jessica), Jordan Pendergrass (Cody), grandchildren Blaire & Finnegan, her sister Gayle Patterson, brother Greg Johnson, mother Carol Johnson and her nieces and nephews.

Gwen married Patrick Pendergrass in Johnstown, CO on January 27th, 1978 and they started their family a couple of years later.  Gwen graduated from Berthoud High School in 1975 and continued her education earning an Associate’s Degree in Precision Machining from Front Range Community College.  Gwen began a career as a machinist and one of her proudest career achievements was building parts for the space shuttle program.

Gwen found joy in many things including her deep love for reading and studying God’s Word, crocheting blankets for her family, taking long car rides in Red Feather to look at all God’s creatures and her favorite thing was going to the Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse games.  The Pendergrass Family was at the very first game and were avid fans ever after.
