During his career he taught at Rivendell, Northeast Middle School, Northglenn High School, and Fletcher Miller. In retirement he worked at North Metro Community Services. He loved his family, friends, and students very much.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Lee and “Wendy” Ross, and his son, Jon David Ross. He is survived by his son, Rory Ross, his sister, Tammy Leschnik, nephew Andrew Leschnik, niece Kristan Leschnik, great nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
