Cheryl Ann Sheldon was born on July 24, 1954 to parents Norman and Mildred Lewis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She had two sisters, Suzy Messing, and Carol Shannon, her twin. She grew up surrounded by loving family with extended family in Tennessee.
She was blessed with four daughters, Crystal, Angela, Anna and April. While raising her family she pursued her degree as a Human Resources Director. Working hard from the bottom up, she built her career beginning with Bob Charles in the McDonald’s Administrative offices. Rising she continued as HR Director for Gerard’s Bakery, and Specialty Products.
Even though Cheryl’s life had many demands, and a fresh diagnosis herself, she co-founded the Northern Dystonia Support Group. She also devoted herself to mentoring young women through Hope House of Colorado every week and assisting in Human Resources for the past 10 years. Cheryl touched and impacted many lives leaving her special spirit for generations to come.
Cheryl and Phil Sheldon married February 29, 2000. They have enjoyed a magnificent marriage for 18 years in Broomfield, Colorado. Living life to the fullest they traveled, enjoyed camping, dancing and being outdoors. Family was their number one priority. They are blessed with 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Cheryl’s contagious laughter, giving heart and loving spirit will be dearly missed.
