Anita Wompey

Anita Marie (Storm) Wompey. Age 79, of Colorado, passed away Tuesday January 14th, 2020 at her home in Superior, Colorado. She was born November 17, 1940 in Johnstown Colorado and grew up in Ellis Kansas. She joined the Novitiate Franciscan order and served in the convent for six years before marrying Raymond Wompey in Denver Colorado September 14, 1963. She became a mother of (4) children, (10) grandchildren, and (1) great grandchild. Her daughters are Catherine Kleinman and Therese Colson (son-in-law Ed Colson). Her sons are Timothy Wompey (daughter-in-law- Victoria Wompey) and John Wompey (daughter-in-law- Sandy Wompey). Grandchildren are Vincent Colson, Jodie Colson, Jordan Colson, Elizabeth Wompey, Carter Wompey, John Wompey, Alison Kleinman, Boston Wompey, Lauren Kleinman, and Anna Wompey. Great grandchild is Caden Colson.

Anita is survived by her brother Steven Storm; three sisters, Darlene Colby, Jean Storm-Tubbs and Mary Ellen Miller.

Anita was predeceased by her parents, her husband Raymond Wompey, her brothers; Bernard Storm, Leo Storm Jr., Jim Storm, and Robert Storm, her sisters; Joyce Storm and Betty Waldschmidt.
